About this role
This is a part-time, school-year position with the potential for full-time hours.
Working hours are 6:30AM - 9:30AM and 1:30PM - 4:30PM; the potential for full-time would include 2 hours mid-day to assist our facilities department with processing work order requests.
Pay Range: $25.04 - $29.11 per hour, depending on credible experience
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answering telephones and radios to assist parents and bus drivers
- Assist with school bus route planning via the district's routing software
- Assist with scheduling athletic and other extra-curricular trips
Qualifications
Upon hire, you will be required to obtain a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) from the Maine Department of Education. A valid CDL license with a bus driver endorsement is preferred.
Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, great communication and good computer skills as it relates to state reports and routing software. Prior experience with routing software is a plus.
