About this role
- 1.Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings from engineering instructions, sketches, surveys and project information.
- 2.Produce plans, elevations, sections and construction details for planning applications, tender documentation and construction projects.
- 3.Incorporate engineering markups and verified site measurements into drawings.
- 4.Check drawings for accuracy, completeness and consistency, referring technical queries to the supervising engineer.
- 5.Maintain drawing registers, revision records and project files.
- 6.Assist with site measurements, technical documentation and building control submissions.
- 7.Coordinate drawing information with the engineer, clients and other project participants.
- Engineering design, certification and final technical approval remain the responsibility of the supervising engineer.
