About this role
Ms Catherine Mc Coy is seeking a compassionate and qualified Live-in Carer with a nursing background to provide dedicated, one-to-one care to an individual with multiple complex medical conditions in a private home setting. The role requires delivering high-quality, person-centered care while supporting the individual’s medical, physical and emotional needs. Candidate must be caring, reliable, kind, and trustworthy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of care and provide continuous, one-to-one care tailored to the patient’s specific medical condition.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming and mobility issues.
- Monitor and report changes in the patient’s health condition.
- Assist with feeding and nutritional support where required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship and work in line with care plans and medical guidance from treating professionals as required.
- Meal preparation and basic cooking.
- Confidentiality Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient and company information.
- Ensure all records and information comply with GDPR requirements.
- Essential Requirements QQI Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant healthcare discipline Ability to provide high-level care in a home setting Proficient in English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Desirable Minimum 2 year's experience caring for individuals with advance medical needs.
Additional Information This role is strictly for care in a private home for a person with exceptional medical needs.
