About this role
We are seeking an experienced, reliable and hands-on Hotel Maintenance and Operational Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of two hotel buildings in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a hotel environment and practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical maintenance and general building repairs. A friendly, professional attitude, along with strong communication and customer service skills, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of two hotel buildings.
- Carry out general maintenance, plumbing repairs and basic electrical maintenance within the scope of your training and qualifications.
- Conduct regular building inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and management.
- Ensure guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
- Identify and report maintenance issues and coordinate specialist contractors when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Previous experience working in a hotel environment is essential.
- Good practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical maintenance and general building repairs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional and welcoming attitude towards hotel guests and colleagues.
