- Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
- Clean and maintain work space.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
- Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools.
- Measuring tools: Gauges.
- Micrometers.

- Verniers.
- Equipment and machinery experience: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
- Equipment: Automatic lathes.
