Tasks
- Assign IT projects to systems analysts, programmers and other computer technicians.
- Coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
- Plan and control budget and expenditures.
- Recruit staff.
- Review operational reports to assess compliance with software and hardware requirements . Supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel . Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems.
- Authorize the development of specifications for products or services.
- Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
