Salary: £45,000 - 52,000 per year
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments, with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience in a third-line infrastructure or senior support role.
- Experience with several of the following technologies is advantageous: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP; Microsoft Windows Server; Azure AD/Entra ID, ADFS and SSO; VMware and virtualisation technologies; Exchange and Microsoft collaboration technologies; SCCM/endpoint management; PKI and certificate management; PowerShell scripting and automation; infrastructure monitoring and security tooling; networking fundamentals, including LAN, WAN, routing and firewalls.
- Able to work independently and solve complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Eligible to obtain Security Clearance or already hold clearance.
- Passionate about technology and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert third-line support across enterprise-scale Windows environments.
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Design, implement and support Windows-based infrastructure solutions.
- Support project delivery, upgrades and technical change activity.
- Contribute to service improvement and infrastructure optimisation initiatives.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with customers, internal teams and technical stakeholders.
- Participate in an on-call rota supporting critical services when required.
- Take ownership of complex technical issues and contribute to infrastructure projects.
- Help maintain the security, availability and performance of critical business systems.
- Investigate challenging incidents and implement infrastructure enhancements.
