Salary: £45,000 - 52,000 per year
Requirements
- Current SC clearance and eligibility to undertake DV clearance
- Proven experience in a 3rd Line Infrastructure or Managed Services environment
- Extensive Microsoft Windows Server administration experience
- Strong Active Directory expertise, including GPOs, DNS, LDAP, Kerberos, delegation and trust relationships
- Experience with VMware and virtualisation technologies
- Exchange administration experience
- PKI and certificate management experience
- PowerShell scripting and automation skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
- Experience with Citrix technologies, messaging platforms, Ivanti Device Control, SecureEnvoy 2FA, Nexthink, endpoint security and anti-virus platforms, or enterprise monitoring and infrastructure management tools would be advantageous
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and incident resolution
- Deliver solutions and workarounds to minimise service disruption
- Support and maintain critical Windows Server environments
- Manage and prioritise multiple technical tasks and projects
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders and wider technical teams
- Review service performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support infrastructure deployments, upgrades and enhancements
- Participate in an on-call support rota
