Requirements
- Ground segment architecture and design
- Telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) and communications systems

- Applicants must achieve at least Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
- Some roles require higher levels of National Security Vetting; applicants typically need 5 to 10 years of continuous UK residency, depending on the required vetting level

Responsibilities
- Support the architecture, design, development and evolution of ground systems for current and future space missions
- Apply systems engineering principles across the ground segment lifecycle, from concept and requirements definition through integration, verification and acceptance
- Develop robust, scalable and maintainable ground segment solutions that meet mission, customer and operational needs
- Contribute to ground segment architectures, interfaces and technical solutions across a range of mission applications
- Apply ground segment standards, engineering best practice and industry approaches to system development
- Collaborate with software, infrastructure, mission and systems engineers to deliver integrated ground segment capabilities
- Support the development of next-generation ground segment products, services and mission capabilities
- Develop expertise across ground segment functions, including mission control, TT&C, mission planning, payload operations, data processing and automation
