Salary: £25,000 - 29,000 per year
Requirements
- Experience supporting IT in a school environment or an MSP
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows operating systems
- Some understanding of common user applications and networked systems
- Confident troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under pressure
- Excellent communication and organisation skills, with a customer-first approach
Responsibilities
- Act as an onsite IT contact, providing responsive first-line support to staff and students
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, projectors, AV equipment and other technology
- Install, configure and upgrade hardware and software across the school network
- Support and maintain core systems, particularly Microsoft Office 365 and commonly used education applications
- Work proactively with stakeholders to identify improvements in ICT provision
- Communicate technical solutions clearly and effectively to non-technical users
- Keep systems running smoothly and help the school get the most out of its ICT
