Requirements
- Strong hands-on ServiceNow architecture and SOMT (Sales Order Management for Telecommunications) expertise
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, IT Operations, and enterprise monitoring
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Azure Monitor, and AWS CloudWatch, and with CMDB data sources
- Knowledge of CMDB architecture, data modeling, ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript and Glide APIs), and network, server, storage, and cloud technologies
- Experience producing high-level and low-level designs (HLDs and LLDs) and architecture diagrams
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of ServiceNow SOMT solutions
- Define scalable IT Operations architectures, drive observability and AIOps initiatives, and enable proactive operations through ServiceNow SOMT modules
- Define end-to-end ServiceNow architecture aligned with enterprise IT Operations strategy
- Lead SOMT implementation and delivery across large enterprise environments
- Act as the technical authority for SOMT solutions and best practices
- Mentor developers, administrators, and consultants on SOMT architecture and standards
- Design and implement AIOps-driven event correlation and noise reduction
- Define SOMT governance, standards, and architectural guardrails

We are working with a global IT consultancy supporting a leading telecommunications end client. This is a six-month contract based in London, with hybrid working: two to three days per week remotely and the remainder in our London office. The rate is up to £550 per day, outside IR35, with an ASAP start in October or November 2026.
