Requirements
- Strong Oracle DBA experience in enterprise environments
- Advanced SQL and database administration skills
- Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Active Data Guard
- Experience with Windows and Linux server environments
- PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
- Strong understanding of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
- Experience with database modelling and capacity planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelors degree in IT or a related discipline
- Experience with DBA development and monitoring tools
- Knowledge of reporting, visualisation, and dashboard solutions
- Experience designing large-scale database architectures
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor and optimise database performance and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
- Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures
- Support and deploy new database technologies and enhancements
- Design, build, and integrate complex database solutions
- Develop reports, dashboards, and database monitoring tools
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define technical requirements and database architectures
- Ensure SLAs and operational KPIs are achieved
- Support testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements across database environments
