Job Title: Shipping and Receiving AssociateJob DescriptionThe Shipping and Receiving Associate plays a key role in ensuring materials, parts, and supplies move efficiently through the warehouse and production facility. This position is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping products, supporting both inventory control and manufacturing operations. You will work hands-on with materials and equipment, contribute to order fulfillment, and collaborate closely with production and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and supplies to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Verify incoming shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
• Accurately enter inventory transactions into company systems to maintain up-to-date records.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Create shipping labels and coordinate shipments through various carriers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts as needed.
• Organize warehouse locations and ensure materials are properly stored and easily accessible.
• Deliver materials to production teams and support manufacturing operations with timely material flow.
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Participate in regular work rotations and occasionally support the quality team and machining team as needed.
• Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and instructions to complete daily tasks.
• Perform general labor and production-related tasks to support overall facility operations.

Essential Skills

• Approximately 6+ months of shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail when verifying shipments and entering inventory data.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks within the warehouse and production environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
• Comfort working in a production facility environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform general labor and production tasks as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with shipping processes and coordinating with various carriers.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and data entry for inventory transactions.
• Experience using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to support multiple teams, including production, quality, and machining, through regular work rotations.
• Strong work ethic and reliability in a fast-paced production setting.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belgrade, MT.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
