Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Workers to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment within a large data center facility. In this role, you will perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout offices, common areas, restrooms, and operational spaces while supporting overall facility cleanliness and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial, housekeeping, warehouse, manufacturing, food service, or general labor experience seeking stable employment with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, fixtures, mirrors, floors, and common touchpoints.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from designated areas throughout the facility.
- Support floor care activities and general housekeeping tasks.
- Assist with occasional outdoor trash collection and exterior cleanup.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely and effectively.
- Follow all company safety standards and cleaning procedures.
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in janitorial, housekeeping, warehouse, manufacturing, food service, or general labor roles.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible to work assigned schedules and overtime when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Floor care and custodial experience.
- Experience working in large facilities or industrial environments.
- Experience using janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies.
- Comfortable working in a facility that may still have active construction areas.
Work Environment
- Large, modern data center facility.
- Indoor cleaning responsibilities with occasional outdoor duties.
- Active and fast-paced work environment.
- Steel-toe or composite-toe footwear required.
- Frequent walking and movement throughout the facility.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
