We're hiring Material Handlers to support warehouse, shipping, and production operations for a growing manufacturer. In this role, you'll operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment while ensuring production lines stay supplied and customer orders ship on time. What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver materials to production lines to keep operations moving
- Transport finished goods from production to shipping
- Operate reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and sit-down forklifts
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and shipments
- Wrap, palletize, and stage orders for shipment
- Support shipping operations using UPS, FedEx, and warehouse systems
- Maintain accurate inventory records and material movement transactions
- Coordinate closely with production, warehouse, and shipping teams
- Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of forklift experience
- Experience operating reach trucks, stand-up, or sit-down forklifts
- RF scanner experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience
- Material handling in manufacturing
- Shipping & receiving
- Cherry picker operation
- OSHA forklift certification
- JDE or inventory management systems
- Lean manufacturing or Kanban environments

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
