Job Title: Commercial PlumberJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team as a Commercial Plumber where you will utilize your skills to install and maintain plumbing systems using copper, PVC, and cast iron pipes. This position requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable leading crews and interpreting blueprint drawings.
Responsibilities
- Run and press copper, PVC, and cast iron pipes.
- Work collaboratively with helpers and guide them effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprint drawings to install press copper, PVC, and cast iron pipes.
- Lead mechanics must run crews consisting of a mechanic and a helper.
- Operate and manage a crew of 1-4 people efficiently.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a commercial plumber.
- Journeyman or Master Plumbers License preferred.
- Proficient in working with cast iron, copper, and soldering.
- Experience in rough-in, fixture, and underground plumbing work.
Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic environment that includes both indoor and outdoor settings on new construction projects. Be prepared to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions. Attendance, punctuality, and people skills are highly valued, as well as having reliable transportation and maintaining a positive attitude. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
