Job Title: CNC MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Machinist to support manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and plant improvement projects. This position will produce replacement components, repair parts, tooling, and other items needed to keep production equipment operating effectively. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both manual and CNC equipment.
Responsibilities
- Machine replacement and repair components for production equipment.
- Produce tooling, consumable items, and other parts required by manufacturing operations.
- Set up and operate CNC machining equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, tolerances, and specifications.
- Write, read, and make adjustments to G-code and M-code when needed.
- Inspect completed work using precision measurement and calibration equipment.
- Assist production and maintenance personnel with mechanical projects and equipment repairs.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years in a machining environment.
- Working knowledge of G-code and M-Code.
- Proficiency with micrometers, dial calipers, dial indicators, and inspection or calibration equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with manual machining.
- Ability to operate and maintain the person machine.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Lafayette, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Comprehensive benefits package available on the first of the month following 30 days of employment
