Job Title: AOG MechanicJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as an AOG Mechanic, where you will work primarily at the Midway Airport location. The role involves performing maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircrafts both in the hangar and on the road during AOG rotations. You may also be required to assist at other locations, working with commercial or GA aircraft as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate/private aircrafts in the hangar and on the road during AOG rotations.
- Float to other locations to work on commercial or GA aircraft as needed.
- Participate in weekly on-call/AOG rotations with the team.
- Handle project management for assigned projects, whether in the hangar or on the road.
- Provide maintenance updates to all relevant parties.
- Engage with passengers, owners, maintenance control teams, and other individuals to ensure aircraft are promptly returned to service.
Essential Skills
- A&P License
- Experience with AOG operations
- Strong communication skills for interacting with corporate flight departments, maintenance controllers, and customers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of AOG experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with corporate/private airframes is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Stephens, West Star MRT, Gulfstream Fast, Jet East, Net Jets, Flex Jet is beneficial.
- Open to candidates without corporate experience but must be professional and customer-focused.

Work EnvironmentWork a 7 on/7 off schedule, with guaranteed hours and opportunities for overtime. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with flexibility required. Travel within a 300-mile radius is possible, and work is conducted in non-climate-controlled hangars. Collaboration is key, as you will travel with another mechanic on AOG calls.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.n Site is positioned to grow in 2025 and are positioned to grow their AOG business.
On Site provides several business offerings (private mtnc, AOG, commercial Allegiant welcomes, and GA for flight schools)
