NOW HIRING FOR A FITTER/GRINDER
This role involves welding, pipefitting, and preparing parts in a traditional shop environment. You work with carbon steel components, support mechanical assembly, and help ensure that projects are completed safely, accurately, and on time. If you are interested in furthering your career within a shop while learning under an experience shop lead, you are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Perform pipefitting tasks, including measuring, cutting, and fitting pipe and related components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Grind, sand, cut, and blast parts to remove excess flash and smooth out surfaces
- Operate and overhead crane (this is trainable)
Qualifications
- Any experience as a pipefitter would be a plus, but not a must have
- Experience reading blueprints or schematics and utilizing power tools
- Any experience as a farm hand is very applicable!
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Edinboro, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
