PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER 2nd shift
2nd Shift - 2:00PM - 10:30pm Start 1 hour early or stay an hour late for OT *1-2 Saturdays / monthJOB
DESCRIPTION-
Responsible for assembling metal tool boxes (Will go to construction sites and on the back of pick up trucks)- Will stand at the work station and use various hand and power tools to complete the assembly - Push the boxes down the line to the next person- Keep an organized work station- Perform housekeeping and special clean up duties as assignedENVIRONMENT: Surprisingly Clean environment and well lit. Not temperature controlled but their ventilation system keeps it comfortable. They have 6 production lines right now and they are adding a 7th in May. They have 4-5 people per line but they are short staffed, especially on 2nd shift right now.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carpentersville, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
