Now Hiring: Industrial Maintenance Technician

A leading structural steel manufacturing and fabrication facility is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production operations through equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This position plays a critical role in ensuring production equipment remains operational, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.If you have a strong mechanical background, experience troubleshooting industrial machinery, and basic electrical knowledge, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
• Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Perform inspections and maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Work closely with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment issues quickly.
• Complete maintenance documentation, repair records, and preventative maintenance logs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and uptime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment Strong troubleshooting skills involving:

• Mechanical systems
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Basic electrical systems

Experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance Ability to read and interpret:

• Blueprints
• Schematics
• Technical manuals

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel, fabrication, welding, or heavy industrial manufacturing environments
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Experience maintaining conveyors, saws, CNC equipment, plasma tables, material handling equipment, or other production machinery
• Knowledge of motors, drives, bearings, gearboxes, and hydraulic power units

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work on industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
