Why Work Here? You will join a close-knit machine shop with a genuine family feel, where team members support one another and take pride in producing quality automotive parts. The environment emphasizes learning and growth, offering hands-on training to expand your skills in CNC operation, setups, tooling changes, and blueprint reading. Consistent shifts and clear expectations help you plan your schedule, while the high-volume production setting provides steady work and opportunities to build valuable manufacturing experience.
Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a machine shop that produces small automotive parts in a high-volume production setting. The facility is organized into approximately 67 cells, each containing around 4 CNC machines, and operators work inside closed-off machine cells while running multiple machines at once. The facility is not air-conditioned, so temperatures can become hot during warmer months, and you should be comfortable working in these conditions.
Work is available on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.), and 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.), with overtime driven by production needs and typically occurring every other Saturday.
