Yard Attendant - Entry Level Opportunity

Looking for a hands-on job that keeps you active instead of sitting behind a desk? Join our team as a Yard Attendant and play a key role in managing vehicles, supporting auction operations, and maintaining a safe, organized yard. No automotive experience is required. We provide training for motivated individuals who are dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn.

What You'll Do

• Inspect and check in vehicles arriving at the facility
• Take photos and document vehicle information using a smartphone or tablet
• Wash, clean, and prepare vehicles for auction
• Organize keys, license plates, and vehicle paperwork
• Move and park vehicles throughout the yard
• Assist customers, visitors, tow truck drivers, and team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform general labor and yard maintenance duties as needed
• Monitor vehicles and yard activity while following all safety procedures
• Learn to operate forklifts, loaders, and other equipment through company-provided training

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to stay active throughout the day and lift up to 75 lbs
• Basic smartphone, tablet, or camera skills
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Automotive, warehouse, production, landscaping, construction, detailing, or general labor experience is helpful but not required

Work Environment

This is a physically active outdoor position involving walking, standing, bending, lifting, and working around vehicles throughout the day. Ideal for individuals who enjoy staying busy, working with their hands, and being outdoors.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yorktown, VA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
