This role involves physically demanding tasks such as lifting and moving boxes of various materials, including files, books, binders, and tapes. You will be responsible for processing orders and ensuring accurate inventory management. The position requires manual labor and the ability to work without assistance, handling boxes weighing between 10-50 lbs regularly.
Responsibilities
- Scan correct boxes using handheld scanners.
- Perform accurate order pulling while meeting productivity metrics.
- Maintain attention to detail in all tasks.
- Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
- Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes without assistance.
- Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
- Lift and move boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders.
- Use proprietary computer systems to track orders and determine box locations.
- Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
- Load boxes onto pallets and pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.
Essential Skills
- General labor and material handling experience.
- Order pulling and order picking skills.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners.
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks.
- Physical ability to perform manual lifting and handling tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Steel-toed boots are required.
- Experience with loading and unloading tasks is preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
