Amazon MRT (Maintenance & Reliability Technician) - Daytona Beach, FL
Pay Rate: $32.50/hrLocation: Daytona Beach, FLSchedule: Must be open to all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Maintenance & Reliability Technicians (MRTs) to support a fast-paced Amazon fulfillment operation in Daytona Beach. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated material handling equipment, conveyor systems, robotics, and facility equipment to ensure maximum operational uptime and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyors, automated equipment, and material handling systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Conduct fault-finding and diagnostic testing using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately within maintenance systems.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement projects focused on reliability, throughput, and equipment performance.
- Work collaboratively with operations and engineering teams to ensure facility performance goals are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience with conveyors, motors, drives, bearings, gearboxes, and automated equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems is a plus.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
Preferred Experience
- Maintenance experience in a distribution center, fulfillment center, manufacturing facility, or automated production environment.
- Experience with robotics, automation systems, PLC troubleshooting, and material handling equipment (MHE).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
