Industrial Painter @ Aerotek

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate industrial painting and sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare surfaces through blasting, cleaning, masking, sanding, and coating preparation.
• Mix paints, primers, and industrial coatings to precise specifications.
• Apply coatings using spray guns and other industrial painting equipment to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Disassemble, clean, maintain, and reassemble equipment and components as needed.
• Assist with equipment installation, demolition, and decontamination projects.
• Utilize ladders, scaffolding, ventilation systems, and exhaust equipment while following all safety standards.
• Move and position materials using lifting devices and material-handling equipment.
• Apply stencils, decals, and identification markings to finished products.
• Monitor coating cure times and quality standards to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and quality.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of industrial painting, sandblasting, or powder coating experience.
• Experience operating commercial spray equipment, paint guns, and blasting systems.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and industrial coating applications.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, coating specifications, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Vocational training in industrial painting is a plus.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
