Electronics Repair Technician 🚨
💲 Salary: $52,000 - $60,000/year🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | 1st ShiftAre you mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work? We're looking for a Electronics Repair Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll train alongside an experienced technician to service, repair, and maintain aesthetic laser equipment used in medical practices and spa environments.
What You'll Do
Troubleshoot and repair equipment both in the field Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections Use laptops and tablets to diagnose technical issues Travel to customer locations for onsite service calls Deliver professional customer service in clinical settingsWhat We're Looking For: Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Comfort using technology for diagnostics and reporting Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and willingness to travel Previous repair, maintenance, field service, automotive, HVAC, or technical experience is a plusResponsibilities
- Service and repair aesthetic laser equipment with precision.
- Utilize basic electronics skills to train into the role and perform maintenance tasks.
- Work on 2-4 machines during initial training, focusing on basic repairs and parts replacement.
- Progress to handling more complex repairs as you gain experience.
- Service six standard machines, including brands like Cynosure, Zimmer, and Alma.
- Troubleshoot issues to the component level within the shop environment.
- Assist with more complex repairs and builds after gaining proficiency.
- Use a laptop or iPad to troubleshoot, repair, and recalibrate laser machines.
Skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electronics and PCB to component level.
- Ability to repair Printed Circuit Boards effectively.
- Experience in performing checks and balances to ensure repair quality.
- Competence in using hand tools for equipment repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Current and valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in a service role is required.
- Mechanical aptitude to facilitate training into the role.
- Basic trade experience from school or fieldwork is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel, including some overnight stays, with trips to NYC approximately four times a month.
- Strong communication skills to interact with doctors and articulate repair needs.
- Ability to present oneself professionally and upsell repairs with confidence.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
