Job Title: DishwasherJob DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent dishwasher to join our team. This position involves rinsing and washing dishes by hand or using a commercial dishwasher, cleaning and sanitizing pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and food prep surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Rinse and wash dishes by hand or using a commercial dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and maintain sanitation standards in dish and kitchen areas.
• Transfer supplies and assist with loading/unloading deliveries.
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or food service experience preferred (but not required).
• Customer service oriented.
• Knowledge of food safety and retail sales.

Work EnvironmentThis role operates on a 1st/2nd shift schedule, with possible open or close hours between 7am and 8pm, subject to slight variations. Rotating weekends are required, and candidates must be open to overtime.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
