Job Title: Electrical Assembly TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Electrical Assembly Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical assembly of various drives and electric transformers. You will work in a team setting, typically comprising 2-4 members, to assemble medium voltage line drives. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. Additionally, you will be trained to read and interpret schematics as part of your daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical assembly of drives and electric transformers.
- Work collaboratively in teams of 2-4 members.
- Follow work orders and use schematics for assembly tasks.
- Use various hand and power tools for assembly work.
- Conduct bench assembly, focusing on the same drive for the entire shift.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of assembly experience (mechanical or electrical) from the same company.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- 1+ years of blueprint or schematic reading experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of electrical or wire diagrams.
- Soldering and electronic assembly skills.
- Proficiency in electrical wiring.

Work EnvironmentWork the 1st shift from 5:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Thursday, in a clean and well-lit manufacturing environment. Safety is a priority, so steel-toe shoes and safety glasses are required. Work in a brand-new facility at the U.S. headquarters, with plans to expand and add 1200 jobs over the next 8-10 years.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
