Job Title: Structural Steel WelderEssential Skills
- Proficiency in flux core welding on structural steel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately.
- Experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial or fabrication environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Ability to work safely with air arc, grinders, magnetic drills, and other welding tools.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work comfortably in a loud, heavy industrial steel fabrication shop.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting a structural steel fabrication department.
- Familiarity with a range of fabrication equipment, from newer machines to older equipment.
- Ability to maintain an organized personal welding station and tools.
- Comfort working with overhead cranes throughout a large industrial structure.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
