Job DescriptionThis position involves all responsibilities associated with maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the hospital. The role is crucial for ensuring a hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Strip beds, make beds, and transport bedding to the laundry bins.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly.
- Sweep, mop, and wax floors.
- Perform high and low dusting.
- Clean, wipe, and sanitize surfaces.
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 6 months of cleaning experience in schools, hospitals, or any janitorial setting.
- Proficiency in janitorial and custodial tasks.
- Experience in hospital or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Competency in floor care and floor cleaning.
Work EnvironmentWe currently have three openings on the 1st shift and four openings on the 2nd shift. 2nd shift workers must train on the 1st shift for one week. Shifts are from 7:00 am 3:30 pm (1st shift) and 2:30 pm 11:00 pm (2nd shift). Team members need to be available to work every other weekend. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
