Job Title: Skilled HelperJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dependable and skilled professional to join our growing team. This role supports a variety of commercial and industrial construction projects and requires experience in general construction, carpentry, concrete work, maintenance, and site support activities. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, can work independently with minimal supervision, and represents the company in a professional manner on job sites and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of commercial and industrial construction tasks.
• Assist with concrete work, carpentry, general construction, and facility maintenance projects.
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Complete assigned work independently and as part of a larger project team.
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Properly care for company tools, equipment, and assets.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Demonstrate strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Professionally represent the company on customer sites and during project interactions.
• Perform additional duties as required to support project success.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of construction experience.
• Experience working with hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in active construction environments.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and meet project deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Commercial and/or industrial construction experience.
• Experience in carpentry, concrete, structural work, or maintenance trades.
• Experience working on construction sites with multiple subcontractors and project teams.
• Must be able to obtain TWIC eligibility.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather and job site conditions.

Work EnvironmentThis position requires work in a variety of new construction job sites, renovations, and repair projects. You may be subject to the elements and must be willing to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). The typical shift is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, although this is subject to change based on project needs.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomingdale, GA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
