Our healthcare client is seeking a Medical Records Specialist to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a great opportunity to leverage your clinical knowledge in a role that offers 1 week of onsite training followed by remote work flexibility!
What You'll Do
- Review patient medical records and abstract clinical data into designated EMR systems.
- Accurately extract and enter cardiology-related chart information.
- Navigate multiple EMR platforms, including Epic, Cerner, and GEMMS.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
- Work independently in a remote environment following 1 week of onsite training.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior healthcare experience in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation preferred

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
