Electromechanical Technician | Day Shift
Enjoy building equipment and seeing your work come together from start to finish? Were looking for an Electromechanical Technician to join a small, collaborative team assembling and wiring advanced testing equipment. Schedule: 8:00 AM4:30 PM
What Youll Do
- Build equipment and mechanical sub-assemblies
- Perform electrical and mechanical assembly
- Wire electrical panels and components
- Crimp and strip wires and cables
- Read and follow schematics and wiring diagrams
- Use drills, grinders, and other hand tools
- Follow detailed work instructions to complete assemblies
- Work closely with a small team to build larger equipment
What Were Looking For
- Experience with electrical or electromechanical assembly
- Hands-on wiring, crimping, and wire-stripping experience
- Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Mechanical assembly experience
- Experience building sub-assemblies
- Larger equipment or capital equipment assembly experience is a plus

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Somerville, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.25 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
