Case Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring a Warehouse Lead to Start as Soon As Possible!

Shift: 8am-4:30pmLocation: Mahwah, NJPay: $24-$26/hour ; Overtime: $36-$39/hourJob DescriptionThe Warehouse Lead oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving, efficient inventory management, and smooth coordination of warehouse staff. This role combines hands-on work with leadership responsibilities, requiring strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to solve problems independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and run daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient and accurate workflow.
• Manage all shipping and receiving activities, including verifying documentation, inspecting shipments, and coordinating outbound orders.
• Stage orders accurately and on time to support production, logistics, and customer delivery requirements.
• Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records in coordination with established procedures.
• Monitor and manage warehouse inventory levels, ensuring proper stock rotation, storage, and organization.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and supporting team development.
• Train warehouse staff on safe and efficient forklift operation and other warehouse equipment and procedures.
• Operate forklifts to load and unload pallets, move materials, and support shipping and receiving activities.
• Use an ERP system to enter, track, and reconcile inventory, shipping, and receiving data.
• Apply strong warehouse management practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety in daily operations.
• Identify and resolve operational issues independently, escalating matters when necessary.
• Utilize computer skills to manage documentation, reports, and communication related to inventory and shipping.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory information.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management, with prior responsibility for overseeing staff.
• Strong warehouse management skills, including organizing workflow, setting priorities, and maintaining productivity.
• Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and carrier coordination.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, including cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory, shipping, and warehouse management.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move pallets.
• Leadership skills with the ability to direct, coach, and train warehouse staff.
• Strong computer skills to manage inventory, shipping records, and related documentation.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and solve operational problems effectively.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mahwah, NJ.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
