Job Title: Production Helper ($19/hour -$26/hour)Job SummarySupport daily operations in a CNC/aerospace manufacturing shop by delivering materials, moving parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and assisting with basic machine and mechanical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver materials and supplies to support production.
- Move parts and components throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop floor.
- Operate a forklift (training provided if needed).
- Assist with basic machine upkeep and light mechanical tasks.
- Follow safety procedures and support shop operations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of manufacturing or machine shop experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform physical labor.
- Experience supporting production, machining, or assembly teams.
- Ability to learn and safely operate a forklift.
- Strong commitment to safety and workplace organization.
Preferred
- Previous forklift experience.
- Background in manufacturing, fabrication, or mechanical work.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in an aerospace manufacturing environment with CNC and fabrication equipment in operation.
You will work on a first shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., supporting production activities on the shop floor. The setting is an active machine shop where safety procedures, cleanliness, and organized workflows are prioritized. Work involves regular movement around the facility, handling materials and parts, and performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
