The GIS Specialist I have a strong foundation in GIS principles and technologies, particularly with ArcGIS software suite. This role supports various disciplines within our engineering firm, providing spatial analysis, data management, and cartographic support. Assist in the creation, maintenance, and analysis of spatial datasets using ArcGIS software. Conduct spatial analysis to support engineering projects, including site suitability analysis, network analysis, and spatial modeling. Collaborate with project teams to understand GIS requirements and deliver solutions tailored to their needs.
Manage and maintain GIS data repositories, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Produce high-quality cartographic products for reports, presentations, and client deliverables. Provide technical support and training to colleagues on ArcGIS software and related GIS tools. Stay updated on the latest developments in ArcGIS technology and recommend innovative solutions to improve workflows and efficiency. Assist in the implementation and administration of ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise platforms. Support the integration of GIS with other engineering software and systems.
