This position will set up and maintain proper Machine Operation while maintaining the best quality possible for wholesale/retail packaging. - The schedule for this Production position will be: The schedule is 1st Shift - Mon - Thurs & Saturday 5 am - 1:30 am Primary responsibilities of a Machine Operator are to: Set up and perform safe start-ups at the beginning of each shift.
- Think safety.
- Conduct prompt start-ups, timely shutdowns, and precise changeovers from one product to another.
- Recording accurate production output and downtime.
- Record and maintain Quality Control throughout the machine process.
- Maintain proper sanitation of the equipment and production environment according to plant GMP’s.
- Complete all SQF related documentation.
- Will operate the cook room overall including the Blending and Packaging processes.
- Frequent Forklift operation including stand-up and sit down lifts.
- Follow all Food Safety procedures and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel, possibly including, but not limited to, preventive maintenance and cleaning.
- Occasional plant Sanitation duties.
