About this role
Some clinics have been around forever. We're still the new kids on the block, but we've got big ideas (and excellent taste in neighbours!). Opened in late 2024, University District Vet Clinic is putting down roots in one of Calgary's coolest neighbourhoods. Think great coffee, restaurants worth leaving your lunch at home for, and enough shops to make your lunch break a little dangerous. We're growing alongside our community, and we've got big plans for this clinic of ours!
And big plans call for someone who's been around the block a few times! We're looking for an experienced veterinarian who knows their medicine, knows how to win people over (bonus points for skeptical cats!), and has built a loyal client following that speaks for itself. Someone ready to bring their experience, established client relationships, and fresh ideas to a growing practice.
You'll have the freedom to practise medicine your way and a genuine opportunity to help shape the future of University District Vet Clinic. Here's what we love about our clinic: We're young enough to embrace fresh ideas, but we've got an experienced team and the support of Mosaic PetCare behind us. Better yet, two of our very own team members are local owners. They're invested not just in the clinic's success, but in the people who make it what it is.
We want our veterinarians to have the autonomy to practise medicine in a way that reflects their strengths, clinical interests, and professional judgment. We value collaboration, but we're not interested in micromanaging talented team members. Here's what makes us different: Autonomy, without being on your own. Make clinical decisions, pursue your interests, and practice medicine your way with a supportive team behind you.
Local ownership that matters. Our owners know the clinic, care about the people in it, and are personally invested in its future. A real opportunity to grow. Bring your established client relationships, expand your caseload, and help shape a thriving community practice. A team you'll actually look forward to seeing. We're biased, but we're pretty fun.
We work hard, support each other, and enjoy a good laugh. RVTs who know their stuff. Skilled technologists who are empowered to use their training and contribute meaningfully to patient care. Thoughtful, patient-focused medicine. Fear Free practices, a cat-friendly environment, and a shared commitment to high-quality care. The best of both worlds. The personality and independence of a local clinic, backed by the resources, mentorship, and leadership support of Mosaic PetCare.
