About this role
- The Domestic Consignment Specialist, Field Support is responsible for managing implant and instrument retrievals for surgical cases.
- They enable the company to optimize cash flow performance by providing the highest levels of customer service through consistent policies, procedures, processes, reporting and accurate inventory tracking and optimization.
- Manage implant and instrument retrievals for all orders when product cannot be supplied from Gainesville office for surgical cases; requires on-call support, crisis management and shipping coordination after-hours during the week and weekends.
- Document all retrieval activities and report results on a monthly basis to Team Leader.
- Serve as escalation contact for Inventory Services and the Loaner Program when they need assistance supporting miscellaneous retrieval efforts.
- Responsible for understanding and balancing Field Sales supply and demand issues of targeted and non-targeted customers with internal supply chain strategies.
- Carries out inventory optimization plans, Product Lifecycle programs, systems and audits for managing field inventory logistics to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Report results to Field Sales, Sales Management and Supply Chain Team as directed.
- Audit domestic field inventory to ensure optimization of corporate assets.
- Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
- Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary
