BAKERY ASSISTANT The Missing Grain – 100% Gluten-Free Bakery & Café Linthicum Heights, Maryland Morning shift: 4:00 AM–12:00 PM Afternoon shift: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM Full-time and part-time positions available Weekend availability required The Missing Grain is looking for dependable and hardworking Bakery Assistants to join our growing bakery team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, can follow detailed instructions, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality baked goods. Assist with daily bakery production
- Scale and measure ingredients accurately
- Mix, shape, portion, pan, and prepare bakery products
- Assist bakers with breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other products
- Package and label finished products
- Stock and organize ingredients and supplies
- Maintain clean and organized production areas
- Wash equipment, utensils, pans, and work surfaces as needed
- Follow recipes and established production procedures
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, allergen-awareness, and gluten-free procedures
- Assist wherever needed during high-volume production periods
