The Missing Grain – 100% Gluten-Free Bakery & Café Linthicum Heights, Maryland Typical shift: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM Full-time and part-time positions available Weekend availability required The Missing Grain is looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Barista / Front of House Team Members who enjoy providing excellent customer service. Our front-of-house team creates a welcoming experience for every guest while maintaining the high standards of our 100% gluten-free bakery and café.
- Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take orders accurately using our POS system
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, cold beverages, and other café drinks
- Package and serve bakery and café products
- Answer customer questions about menu items and ingredients
- Assist customers with gluten-free and available dairy-free options
- Maintain bakery displays and customer service areas
- Restock cups, lids, packaging, beverages, and supplies
- Clean counters, tables, beverage equipment, and dining areas
- Follow opening, closing, and cash-handling procedures
- Communicate clearly with bakery and kitchen team members
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, allergen-awareness, and gluten-free procedures
