Cloud Security Engineer (AWS) – 5+ Years Experience
Job Summary
Seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with 5+ years of experience in cloud and cybersecurity, including hands-on expertise in AWS security services. The role focuses on securing cloud infrastructure, implementing security controls, automating compliance, and supporting DevSecOps initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure AWS cloud solutions.
- Manage IAM roles, policies, MFA, and access governance.
- Configure and monitor AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Config, and Inspector.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate security processes using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, or Bash.
- Support compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
Required Skills
- 5+ years in cybersecurity/cloud security.
- Strong AWS security expertise (IAM, VPC, KMS, WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty).
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
- Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with Linux, Windows, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.

- AWS Certified Security -Specialty
- CISSP / CCSP
- CompTIA Security+
