About this role
The Impact You'll Make As a Field Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that commercial refrigeration systems used by supermarkets and food retail chains operate reliably, efficiently, and according to the highest technical standards. Your expertise will directly support food quality, energy efficiency, and business continuity for our customers across Türkiye. Working closely with contractors, OEMs, service partners, distributors, and internal teams, you will be the trusted technical expert who helps resolve complex technical challenges and drives successful project execution from commissioning through troubleshooting and customer support. This is a highly visible field-based role where you will combine hands-on engineering knowledge, customer interaction, and technical leadership to help accelerate the adoption of innovative refrigeration solutions.
- What You’ll Be Doing Provide technical guidance and commissioning support to contractors, OEMs, and service partners, ensuring refrigeration system installations and parameter settings align with Danfoss standards and best practices.
- Manage customer cases and product investigations, gathering technical data and site information, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring timely communication through resolution.
- Deliver technical training and develop local-language documentation, helping customers and partners build expertise in Danfoss products and refrigeration applications.
- Provide technical support to manufacturers, contractors, service providers, distributors, and internal teams through phone, email, remote access, and on-site visits.
- What We're Looking For At least 3-5 years of practical experience with commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems, including commissioning, troubleshooting, and field support.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, and refrigerants.
- Hands-on understanding of electronic controls, sensors, variable speed drives, and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, LON, MQTT, and Ethernet/TCP-IP.
- Professional proficiency in English and Turkish, with the ability to communicate effectively with global and local stakeholders.
- Ability to influence and guide technical partners, combined with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across Türkiye.
