We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning and Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference to pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing, including those with SEND and EHCPs.
About the Role
As a Learning and Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across the school, working closely with teachers and senior leaders to deliver high‑quality learning experiences. You will provide tailored support for individuals and small groups, contribute to interventions, and help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils’ learning, social development, and wellbeing, including those with SEND and EHCPsWork alongside teachers to deliver classroom learning and targeted interventionsSupport pupils during lessons, break times, lunch times, and enrichment activitiesAssist in preparing learning materials, displays, and classroom resourcesSupport behaviour management in line with school policiesProvide whole‑class cover when requiredAssist with assessments and provide feedback to staff and parents as directedParticipate in training, CPD, and school development activitiesAccompany pupils on trips and out‑of‑school activities when required
