Civil Quality Supervisor Our client is delivering utility-scale renewable energy infrastructure across South Africa. These positions form part of a project quality management team responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Solar PV, Wind and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects by ensuring construction activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Renewable Energy Projects (Wind, Solar PV & BESS) Location Various Project Sites Across South Africa About the Role We are seeking an experienced Civil Quality Supervisor to support the implementation of quality assurance and quality control activities on large-scale renewable energy projects, including Solar PV and Wind Energy developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring civil construction activities, verifying compliance with project specifications, codes and standards, ensuring proper documentation, and promoting a proactive quality culture across site activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor civil construction works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project quality requirements.
- Conduct inspections of earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, hardstands and structural concrete works.
- Verify contractor quality documentation and inspection records.
- Participate in Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) hold points and witness points.
- Identify, document and track non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Support punch listing and project close-out activities.
- Prepare quality reports and communicate quality-related observations to the project team.
- Promote adherence to project quality management systems and procedures.
- Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in construction quality supervision ON RENEWABLE CONSTRUCT ION PROJECTS Renewable Energy project experience
MUST HAVE
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality principles.
- Understanding of civil construction inspection requirements on Renewable Construct ion projects Strong reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Desired Experience Utility-scale Solar PV Projects.
- Wind Farm Construction Projects EPC Contractor or Owner's Engineer environments.
