Position Title: Chief Science Officer Advisor
Reports To: Supervisor of STEM
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1. BS Preferred
- 2. Science/STEM teaching experience
POSITION GOAL
To coordinate the Interboro SD Chief Science Officer (CSO) program and its participation in the Delaware County CSO Program. This is considered an extracurricular contract.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversees the selection of the CSO candidates from the High School Students.
- Serves as an Advisor for CSOs as the complete their Action Plans.
- Attends County level CSO cabinet meetings with the CSO students.
- Communicates clearly with parents the schedule and expectations of CSO students regarding behavior, cabinet meeting attendance, and commitment to the CSO program.
