Tiler Employer: Shamrock Renovation Location: Nursetown, Dromahane, Mallow, Co. Cork P51Y027 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: €36,605 per annum Vacancies: 3 Shamrock Renovation is a reputable Irish renovation and construction company based in Dromahane, Mallow, Co. Cork. We specialise in high-quality interior and exterior finishing works across residential and commercial projects. We are currently seeking experienced Tilers to join our professional team.
- Main Responsibilities Examine drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Prepare and clean surfaces ready for tiling.
- Mix cement screed, adhesive or other composition mixtures as required.
- Cut, position and fix floor and wall tiles, ensuring correct alignment with a spirit level.
- Lay and secure underlay, carpet, linoleum or other floor coverings where required.
- Finish coverings by rolling, smoothing, grouting or polishing.
- Cover and decorate walls and floors with tiles, mosaic panels, terrazzo or granolithic mixtures.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and organisation on site.
- Comply fully with all health, safety and quality regulations.
- Candidate Profile Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Floor or Wall Tiler (or similar role in construction).
- Sound knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives, installation techniques and finishing processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and building specifications.
- Physically fit, safety-conscious and attentive to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be available to work 39 hours per week.
