Kilsaran Precast Ltd requires multiple Floor Tiler roles for their premises at Deerpark Industrial Estate, Oranmore, Galway, H91 X004. The salary offered is €36,605 (18.05/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
- Job Description - Kilsaran Precast is seeking a skilled and reliable Floor Tiler to prepare surfaces, measure and cut tiles, and install floor tiling materials in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- The role requires attention to detail, strong craftsmanship, and commitment to health and safety.
- Measure floor areas and calculate required materials.
- Prepare floor surfaces by cleaning and levelling them and applying appropriate underlays or adhesives.
- Cut, shape, and fit tiles using hand and power tools.
- Mix and apply adhesives, grouts, and sealants.
- Lay tiles accurately in line with alignment and design specifications.
- Repair or replace damaged flooring as required, inspect completed work for quality, and maintain tools and equipment in safe, serviceable condition.
- Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies and work collaboratively with site managers, contractors, and other trades.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Required Qualifications - Proven experience as a Floor Tiler or in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives, grouts, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Excellent measuring and calculation skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification are preferred.
