Job summary
We are looking to recruit one or more enthusiastic and committed GPs to join our busy, friendly, and expanding practice in Yarm.
We welcome applications from GPs interested in either a Partner role or a Salaried position. For those joining as salaried, there is the opportunity to progress to partnership in the future, if desired. Candidates are encouraged to express their preferred route on application.
Main duties of the job
Key information
-A 'session' comprises of 12 appointment slots (either telephone, clinical triage andface-to-face, according to patient choice), We use a triaging system called SystmConnect
-Other clinical/academic interests supported and encouraged.

-Partners would be expected to become premises-owning after a period of one year upon mutual agreement.
Salaried GPs:
o hold a pro-rata list size and participate in the on-call rota on a pro-rata basis.
o contract is in line with the BMA Salaried GP contract.
o salary is negotiable upon experience and additional roles taken up within the Practice.

Leave entitlement is six weeks annual leave and one week study leave per annum.
No extended hours.
Partners would be expected to become premises-owning after a period of one year upon mutual agreement.

o salary starting at £10k/session, negotiable upon experience and additional roles taken up within the Practice.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Experience of working in primary care environment. Experience of CPD. Experience of QOF and clinical audit. Understanding of the GMS contract.
Qualifications Essential
Qualified GP. MRCGP or equivalent. Full GMC Registration. National Performers List registrations.
Knowledge and Skills Essential
Outstanding level of clinical knowledge and skills. Excellent communication skills. Effective time management. Ability to work as a team member and autonomously. Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure.
